Effectiveness
The impact of an intervention on important outcomes. This includes potential negative effects, quality of life, and costs.
RE-AIM Definition of Effectiveness
EBHP have been tested in research settings and are proven to have a positive effect on health outcomes. Several have built in ways to assess effectiveness by tracking health outcomes and health status of participants.
When addressing the effectiveness of a program, you need to determine if there is there an EBHP program available that will have an impact on the health of your community.
