Data collected on all medical and pharmacy claims for Medicaid enrollees, including eligibility. Not specific to older adults, but collected for Medicare/Medicaid enrollees providing an excellent data source for older adults at or near the poverty level
County snapshots updated yearly and include health indicators such as tobacco use, hypertension, obesity, and diabetes. In addition, the QEHO Unit collects medical chart review data from focused care studies. These sometimes address topics related to aging and are good to review for your specific area.
Data for the last six years stored in Medicaid’s DRIVE system, via SAS datasets.
